It is once again the bootleg label Expensive Woodland Recordings that has published on double vinyl (grey) a concert from the 1981 “Picture Tour” with which The Cure promoted their third studio album “Faith”: an album still focused on the gothic and dark sounds of its predecessor “Seventeen Seconds” and from which Robert Smith (vocals and guitar), Simon Gallup (bass) and Lol Tolhurst (drums) took up six songs on that occasion (“The Holy Hour”, “The Drowning Man”, “The Funeral Party”, “Primary”, “Other Voices” and “All Cats Are Gery”), recovering from the old catalogue pieces published on the first two albums or on singles such as “10:15 Saturday Night” and the inevitable “A Forest”.
