Parachute is releasing two unofficial double vinyl sets of the soundboard recording of The Cure’s famous concert at the Hollywood Rock festival in Rio de Janeiro on January 26, 1996, several months before a world tour to promote their album, Wild Mood Swings. This first volume features bandleader, singer, and guitarist Robert Smith, bassist Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper, guitarist/keyboardist Perry Bamonte, and keyboardist Roger O’Donnell performing previously unreleased songs such as “Want” and “Jupiter Crash,” tracks from their previous album, Wish (1992), including the hit “Friday I’m In Love,” and classics such as “A Night Like This,” “Pictures Of You,” “Lullaby,” “Just Like Heaven,” “The Walk,” “Let’s Go To Bed,” and “In Between Days.”
