Description
Bryan Adams returns to Japan for the first time in three years, bringing with him the nearly stereo soundboard “ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES.” A trio of original recordings that will complete the entire show will be released at once!
This release is the final installment of a three-part series. It features in-ear monitor intercepts from the final performance of the Japan tour, “January 28, 2026: Asue Arena Osaka.” This tour featured three shows, all of which were released as live albums this week. To preserve the memories, let’s first check out the collection in the Japan tour schedule.
January 26th: “BUDOKAN 2026 1ST NIGHT”
January 27th: “BUDOKAN 2026 2ND NIGHT”

[Superb IEM recordings with a high level of perfection as music albums]
All three shows are equally exquisite, but this release stands out in terms of individuality. While the two Nippon Budokan releases were recorded with twin audiences by the same recording artist, this one is different. This is not a standard audience recording, but a premium IEM album.
What’s more, these IEMs are no ordinary item. Originally mastered by the well-known “West Japan’s Strongest Taper,” they are actually the IEMs of Bryan Adams himself. Since IEMs are not for entertainment purposes but for work, it’s not uncommon for the drums to be loud or for the mix balance to be off for certain parts. However, since this album features Adams’ IEMs, the instrument balance is perfect. While some tracks have clicks, they’re barely noticeable because they’re drowned out by the performance sounds, and the count-in instructions overlap with Adams’ own counting voice. It’s a complete piece that can be enjoyed as a proper musical piece.
Above all, the sound itself is superb. Because it’s an IEM, it’s completely unprocessed and the texture is raw. It feels like an “official excavation” level, but its rawness is reminiscent of a soundboard directly connected to a mix table. Adams’s voice resonates in your ears, and Keith Scott’s guitar explodes in your brain. While you can’t hear the excitement of the venue, the sense of complete synchronization between the performance and your entire body is truly an otherworldly pleasure.
[Includes a sound check featuring rare covers]
This otherworldly sound depicts the full show (plus a little extra) from the grand finale of the Japan tour. The set itself is identical to the second day at Nippon Budokan, but this release also includes additional bonus audio. That’s the sound check from that day! This is also an original IEM master recorded by “Saikyō,” and the quality is superb, approaching the main live performance.
Now, let’s organize the contents together with the main part of the live performance.

●Sound check (5 songs)
: Heaven / It’s Only Love
. Songs not performed in the main program: Woman From Tokyo (*) / Strange Kind Of Woman (*) / I’m Ready
*Note: “*” indicates songs with vocals.
…And so it goes. In fact, this sound check is the highlight of this album. You can also hear “I’m Ready,” which wasn’t performed in the main program, but even more impressive are the covers of DEEP PURPLE’s “Woman From Tokyo” and “Strange Kind Of Woman”! They were rehearsed almost in full, and even feature Adams’ vocals. “Woman From Tokyo” is recorded as having been performed only once at the Nippon Budokan in 2000, but “Strange Kind Of Woman” is an extremely rare song that has never been recorded even once. Adams is apparently a big fan of Ritchie Blackmore, and this is a very rare and heartwarming scene that shows the fan mentality of someone who never forgets even after becoming a huge star.
This original IEM album features the highly acclaimed full show and even a priceless sound check. A treasure among treasures, available nowhere else. Please enjoy to your heart’s content.
★ This is the original IEM intercepted recording from the “January 28, 2026: Asue Arena Osaka” performance. Originally mastered by the well-known “West Japan’s Strongest Taper,” it intercepted the IEMs of star performer Bryan Adams himself. Not only is the sound exquisite, but the instrument balance is perfect and the sense of stability is outstanding. It’s a complete, fully enjoyable musical work. In addition to the full show, it also includes a bonus sound check featuring an extremely rare cover of DEEP PURPLE, making this the ultimate definitive album.
