HOMESPUN – 2 CD Homespun publishes on a double CD (unofficial) one of the concerts from the tour that Bob Dylan held in 1974 together with the Band, revitalizing a partnership that began when Robbie Robertson’s group was still called Hawks: it is the show on January 31st of that year, second of three evenings at Madison Square Garden in New York (the official live “Before The Flood” instead contains recordings made the night before), broadcast on the radio by WNEW-FM. As on any other date, Robbie Robertson’s group had space to propose their own repertoire alongside that of Dylan, who after a long time also performed a solo acoustic set taking up part of the songs performed during the historic 1996 tour; in contrast, “Forever Young” was the only take from the recent studio album “Planet Waves” .
