[The legendary original recording of the “MASTER OF REALITY Tour”]
This is BLACK SABBATH from 1971/1972. The San Francisco performance of this work was the 11th performance of “North America # 3”, which was in the middle of the “MASTER OF REALITY Tour”.

This work, which conveys such a show, is an original recording excavated by our shop. It was recorded when the record company staff at the time went to the United States (six months after their first visit to Japan, which ended in disaster, but were they planning to come back to Japan?), and was digitized directly from the master reel.
Moreover, it’s not just valuable, the sound is also superb. Although it’s not the type that could be mistaken for a soundboard, the freshness without dubbing marks is wonderful, and all four sounds are clearly recorded. Speaking of the “MASTER OF REALITY Tour,” “BEGGARS’ BANQUET DANCE 1971 (Zodiac 802)” reigns supreme, but that’s only if you emphasize the direct feeling of the on-core. If you prefer a natural feel, stability, and beautiful sound, this work will be considered several steps above.
[A new masterpiece updated with the latest mastering]
This is a pinnacle update of this classic recording. While the original release of the same title, “Reel Masters-004 (2004),” retained the sound of the master, this release has been polished with the latest mastering. The balance has been adjusted based on frequency analysis, resulting in a dramatic improvement in the clarity of the high frequencies. The effect is tremendous. The original aim was to faithfully reproduce the sound from the recording site, but the result is a remarkable improvement in the separation of each instrument, and Ozzy’s singing voice has been transformed into an extremely relaxed voice. The muffled feeling is gone, and it feels as if you are several meters forward from the recording position.

The full show depicted with such a sound is truly a climax. There are no rare songs, but the set that lined up the killer songs from the early trilogy “Black Sabbath,” “Paranoid,” and “Master of Reality” is particularly rich, and the band potential that created such a trilogy exploded with stage tension. There was no gap or slack in the set or performance, not even a single song. This is the golden age! This is a masterpiece! The persuasive power of overflowing from the speakers.
The “MASTER OF REALITY Tour” has traditionally been a popular event, with no soundboards. This is a masterpiece and original recording. Its natural beauty surpasses even the prestigious “BEGGARS’ BANQUET DANCE 1971.” Enjoy it anytime, anywhere with this press CD, which will forever retain its brilliance.
