However, thanks to advances in AI technology, it is now possible to create authentic stereo mixes by digitally analyzing not only monaural recordings but also overdubbed tracks, separating them into multitracks, and remixing them. In recent years, “demixes”—such as those featured in Peter Jackson’s film “Get Back” and the reissues of the Red and Blue Albums—have garnered attention thanks to these technologies, leading to a steady stream of audio restorations that were previously impossible.
