EUROPEAN RELEASE – 1 LP Not On Label releases 10 studio outtakes on an unofficial LP printed in a limited edition on transparent vinyl, 9 of which were taken from the recording sessions of “Get Back” (from which “Let It Be” later took shape) which took place between 6, 7, 9, 10, 14 and 25 January 1969 between Twickenham Film Studios (where the Beatles met to rehearse the new material) and the Apple studios in Savile Row. The album’s title refers to a 14-minute instrumental piece – “The Palace Of The King Of The Birds” – which its author, Paul McCartney, later took up with the title “The Castle Of The King Of The Birds” for re-recorded it in 1978 with Wings in a much shorter version intended for the unreleased album “Rupert The Bear” (soundtrack of an animated film). The song was also featured in the closing credits of the documentary “The Beatles – Get Back” broadcast by Disney+.
