This title captures the early Beatles’ live performances in their home country. This
high-quality recording captures special live performances from “BLACKPOOL NIGHT OUT,” held twice in 1964 and 1965 at Blackpool, Britain’s premier resort town, as a special edition of the popular British TV program “BIG NIGHT OUT.”
As it was held in the summer as it was a resort town, the August 1, 1965 performance was held shortly after the release of the single “Help!”.
In addition to “I Feel Fine” and “Ticket to Ride,” the live take of Ringo singing “Act Naturally” is extremely rare.
And “Yesterday,” performed five days before the album’s release, is the live performance that could also be seen in the video version of “Anthology,” where Paul plays and sings with an acoustic guitar in the background of an orchestral tape. This
is also the first performance of the world-famous masterpiece “Yesterday.” It’s that moment when John hands Paul a bouquet of flowers after he finishes singing, and when he takes it, it’s just the stems. Watching Paul’s stunned expression, John teases him, saying, “Thanks, Ringo. That was wonderful,” brushing off the lingering feeling of “Yesterday.” That audio is, of course, also recorded.
The “BLACKPOOL NIGHT OUT” from July 19, 1964, about a year earlier, starts with the newly released single “A Hard Day’s Night,” followed by passionate performances of “I’ll Take Your Promise,” “You Can’t Do That,” “If I Fell in Love,” and “Long Tall Sally.”
Except for “You Can’t Do That” and “Long Tall Sally,” all the songs are new and being performed live for the first time.
It’s a thrilling live performance, a mix of tension and excitement.
In addition, valuable live performances from the same period are also included.

During this time, the Beatles, who had rapidly risen to stardom, were increasing their overseas performances and expanding their activities globally, so their performances in their home country were truly special.
