Description

Parachute is releasing a double vinyl version of an official radio recording already available on CD: the show from July 12, 2008, at the Oxegen Festival in Ireland, a fifty-minute set taken from the original Radio 2 broadcast. The setlist features nine songs from the album “Back To Black,” including the title track and other hits “Tears Dry On Their Own,” “Love Is A Losing Game,” “You Know I’m No Good,” and “Rehab.” The set also includes a cover of Sam Cooke’s “Cupid,” the single “Valerie” (a cover of the English band Zutons) recorded with producer Mark Ronson, and two songs from The Specials’ repertoire: “Hey, Little Rich Girl” and “You’re Wondering Now” by Jamaican band Andy & Joey. The bonus tracks (including an interview) are from a 2004 performance at the Summer Sundae Festival in Leicestershire, about a year after the release of their debut album “Frank”.
