L.A. Forum, Inglewood, CA, USA 17th June 1975 ULTIMATE SOUND
★ Incredibly high-quality sound, one of the best in the Millerd Collection
This newly discovered live album features the legendary shock rock king, Alice Cooper, and the charismatic Mike Millard.
It’s amazing. It’s just too amazing. I’ve been introducing Millard’s excavation projects every week, but this is undoubtedly their masterpiece (the band’s preferences vary, so let’s add a “candidate” as well). The incredible sound quality and the climax of the live performance make it stand out even among the many Millard collections.
This masterpiece (candidate) was recorded at the “June 17, 1975 Inglewood Performance.” It’s a superb audience recording that vacuum-packed the entire performance. At the time, it was the “Welcome to the Nightmare” era, which was a major turning point from the Alice Cooper Band to solo Alice Cooper. First, let’s take a look at the overview of their activities and confirm the position of this work.

This is Alice Cooper in 1975. The Inglewood performance in this work was the 26th performance of the main leg, “North America # 2.” Until now, the live album of the “WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE Tour” was the masterpiece “PROVIDENCE 1975 (Shades 1072)” by master Dan Lampinski, but this work was about a month before (19 performances before).
This work, recorded at such a show, is truly a transcendent one. Lampinski’s “PROVIDENCE 1975” was also a considerable masterpiece, but it can’t compete with this work … or rather, it is far better than the soundboard audio of the official concert film “WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE”!
The direct feeling of the on-core, which far surpasses the Lampinski recording, is completely soundboard-class, while it is much clearer and more vivid than the actual official soundboard. Millard’s work is by default a transcendental level, and there have been several works that surpass the official level. However, has there ever been an audience recording that overwhelmed the official level and made you think, “I want to replace the audio of the official video”?
Such a transcendent sound depicts a nightmare world that only Alice Cooper could perform. Let’s organize the historical set here.
●Welcome to My Nightmare (all songs)
・Welcome To My Nightmare / Years Ago / Some Folks / Cold Ethyl / Only Women Bleed / Devil’s Food / The Black Widow / Steven / The Awakening / Escape / Department Of Youth
●Classics (4 songs)

●Classics (4 songs)
・Billion Dollar Babies: No More Mr. Nice Guy / Billion Dollar Babies
・Others: I’m Eighteen / School’s Out
…And that’s how it goes. Although the order and medley arrangement of some songs, such as “Billion Dollar Babies,” is different, it basically follows the official video. Based on all the songs from “Welcome to My Nightmare,” it also incorporates representative songs from his band days into the medley, including “Years Ago.” It’s a “live version of WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE +α,” and is truly a rockin’ horror musical.
The “Welcome to My Nightmare Tour” was the pinnacle and unique milestone in the long history of Alice. This cultural heritage album allows you to fully experience the conceptual, historic stage showcasing all the songs from “Welcome to My Nightmare” with Millard’s masterpiece-class sound. This is an astonishing new discovery that even the official soundboard audio of the masterpiece is out of the question. Please enjoy it to the fullest.
