★UPGRADE!!!This is amazing.
The superb sound board leaked by the people involved that shocked the whole world has been upgraded! In addition to the natural sound of the latest transfer, a new definitive edition with bonus recordings of the first appearance sound source has been released!
The work that is permanently preserved in this work is the “Santa Monica performance on April 8, 1978”. It is a stereo soundboard recording. This show is also known as the day that was adopted for “LIVE! BOOTLEG”, but it was also a soundboard that cast a seat on that theory. In order to explain the circumstances around that, let’s first take a bird’s-eye view of the activities at that time and approach the position of this work.

This is AEROSMITH in 1977/1978. The Santa Monica performance of this work was part of “North America # 3”, but this was also the time when most of “LIVE! BOOTLEG” was recorded. We have introduced many original sound boards in our shop, so let’s focus on the schedule further while mixing in that collection.

[Master of leaked information from people involved who go behind the scenes of the official masterpiece]
…And thus, this work was recorded on the final day when “North America # 3” was divided. And its appearance was a shock itself. In 2014, it was newly excavated through the same related route as the legendary demo album “ROCKS SESSION (Zodiac 570)”, and it was a superb sound board whose existence was not even known until then. And here a mystery was born. “LIVE! BOOTLEG” should have adopted one song from the Santa Monica performance, “Chip Away the Stone”, but the performance is different from this work.
The source cassette for this work has “Santa Monica 4/8/78” written on it, which is thought to have been handwritten at the concert, so it is hard to imagine that a mistake could have been made there. This is just speculation, but perhaps they confused another performance with Santa Monica while selecting and discarding a large number of takes during the production of “LIVE! BOOTLEG”.
[The highest quality updated sound has been dramatically improved through re-digitalization]
Anyway, this work is the highest peak update of such a legendary sound board. It is not a remaster that has already been released, but a return to the only cassette in the world, and retransferred with cutting-edge equipment. It is digitized with the highest precision possible in 2025. In fact, the power of retransfer is tremendous. Each sound is precisely reproduced down to the finest details, and the texture is completely different. The sound of the hi-hat, etc., has a sense of reality as if the instrument itself is vibrating in front of you, and the separation of the stereo that blows left and right is even more vivid.
This sense of upgrade is not the standard for bootlegs. When it first appeared, it was praised as “official grade!”, but this work has improved by about two levels, so to speak, to a high-quality CD level. In other words, like “Mobile Fidelity” and “Nimbus Supercut,” it is a sound of a dimension that depends on how faithfully the sound left on the magnetic tape is digitized and how accurately it is transferred to CD media.
[Bonus recording of shocking audio released for the first time in the world]
The upgraded sound alone is enough to fill my heart, but the master itself is the same as before, so the incomplete recording of the show remains the same (although the improved accuracy allowed for about 20 seconds longer to be digitized). Since the length of about 45 minutes is not enough to eat, this work includes two more delicious bonus sound boards and three additional songs. In fact, these were recorded on the same tape as the main Santa Monica recording. This time, the treasure tape has been completely reprinted.
The first of the two sound sources is “Lick And A Promise” and “Chip Away The Stone” from the “1977 Frankfurt Performance”. Like the main part, it is a superb leaked stereo soundboard recording. There is a mystery about this sound source, as there is no Frankfurt performance on the tour dates of the 1970s known today. Therefore, the detailed date is unknown, but there is no doubt that it is a superb soundboard.
The second is an instrumental demo of “Lick And A Promise”. In fact, this take was also included in the aforementioned press masterpiece “ROCKS SESSION”, but this is an upgraded version with even better sound.

A superb sound board leaked by the people involved in the project that shocked the world in 2014. This is an upgraded version that brings out its full potential. The highest peak update sound made possible by the transfer technology that has evolved over the past 10 years, and a bonus track that will be released for the first time in the world. Enjoy it anytime, anywhere with this press CD that permanently preserves the treasure sound source, which is nothing but a cultural heritage.
