JOHN COLTRANE – CREATION:THE LOST HALF NOTE TAPES (2 CD)
$49.95
SPEAK-EZY – 2 CD
Description
Live at Half Note, New York City, NY, USA 19th March & 2nd April 1965
★A definitive pressing featuring a stereo soundboard recording of the legendary, intense performance at the Half Note in New York City in ’65, just before the quartet’s collapse!
Of course, this release includes performances not featured on the 2005 album “One Down, One Up”!
While there have been titles in the past that have included these performances, they were all of poor quality, such as having incorrect dates that resulted in unrelated 1963 Birdland performances, inferior mono sound, or short running times.
This album is the first to feature these performances in stereo, and it’s also the longest recording to date!
