~A high-quality stereo audience recording of the Nakano Sunplaza concert, held on the third day of their first tour of Japan in 1980!~

Their album “Setting Sons,” released in November 1979, ranked on the UK Albums Chart and was their first time charting in America. The band then toured the UK and Europe, and in July 1980, they held their first tour of Japan with five shows in Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo.

The concert at Nippon Seinenkan on the 7th was broadcast on FM at the time and released as an audio recording, but this release features a high-quality stereo audience recording of the Nakano Sunplaza concert on the 6th, the day before!

This audio was originally included in a double LP analog bootleg titled “DIFFERENT,” but only a small number were distributed, making it difficult to obtain now.

This release uses a master digitally transferred from that mint-condition disc.

The sound quality is top-class for its time, with a wide range, and the vocals and each part are recorded with excellent balance.

This exquisite setlist features eight songs from “SETTING SONS,” as well as tracks from their fifth album, “SOUND AFFECTS,” released approximately four months later in November, including “Pretty Green” and “But I’m Different Now,” and the single “Start!”, which was released the following month and reached number one on the UK charts!
