Description

Only 320 numbered copies of this unofficial double LP are available worldwide on the Pigs On The Groove label, pressed in four different color combinations (red and yellow, red and orange, green and yellow, and green and orange). The two vinyl records feature a recording of Ozzy Osbourne’s concert at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on February 9, 1982, during the tour to promote his second album, “Diary Of A Madman.” Those shows, which closed with a trio of Black Sabbath songs (“Iron Man,” “Children Of The Grave,” and “Paranoid”), featured Ozzy for the last time the late, great guitarist Randy Rhoads, the rhythm section of bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Tommy Aldridge, and (in North America, but not in Europe) future Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey. The double LP is housed in a laminated, reflective gatefold sleeve with special UV effects, while the packaging includes rare photos and a four-page 30×30 cm color insert with a detailed history of the “Diary Of A Madman” album.
