Rockin’ Bear Records is releasing an unofficial CD for the first time of a radio broadcast recording of a concert featuring Rod Stewart and special guest Jeff Beck, who performed together on stage at the Tacoma Dome in Washington state on July 8, 1984. The Scottish singer and his band kick off with a cover of Chuck Berry’s “Sweet Little Rock And Roller” and perform hits such as “You Wear It Well,” “Hot Legs,” “Tonight’s The Night,” and “You’re In My Heart,” as well as a cover of Free’s “All Right Now” before Beck takes the stage for “Infatuation.” The guitarist also features on the cover of Curtis Mayfield & the Impressions’ “People Get Ready” and “Bad For You,” while Stewart and his band – Jim Cregan and Robin Le Mesurier on guitars, John Corey on guitar and keyboards, Kevin Savigar on keyboards, Tony Brock on drums, Jay Davis on bass, Jimmy Zavala on harmonica and sax, Lee Thornburg on horns, and Nick Lane on trombone – close the set with “Maggie May.”
