An unofficial CD on Rockin’ Bear Records features rare and live recordings documenting the short-lived but successful collaboration between Deep Purple and Whitesnake singer David Coverdale and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. “Shake My Tree,” “Take Me For a Little While,” “Feelin’ Hot,” “Take a Look at Yourself,” “Don’t Leave Me This Way,” and “Whisper a Prayer for the Dying” are from the pair’s only 1993 album, while “Saccharine” and “Good Love” are outtakes; “Here I Go Again” and “Still of the Night” are Whitesnake classics, while “Black Dog” and the reworked blues “In My Time of Dying” are Led Zeppelin classics.
