Laser Media dedicates to the solo career of Nils Lofgren (Crazy Horse, E Street Band) an unofficial box set of six CDs, taken from live performances broadcast on the radio over the course of four decades. The first two CDs document a show from 1995 (the year of “Damaged Goods”: the setlist includes the tribute to Keith Richards “Keith Don’t Go (Ode To The Glimmer Twin)”, “Any Time At All” by the Beatles and “Big Boss Man” by the bluesman Jimmy Reed); the third is the concert of October 28, 1977 at the Bottom Line in New York with three songs taken from the repertoire of his old group Grin and “Goin’ Back” written by Carole King and also recorded by the Byrds; the fourth jumps forward to 2001 (the year of “Breakaway Angel”) and also features Bruce Springsteen’s “Wreck On The Highway” while the fifth and sixth go back to 1985, again with “Goin’ Back”, Crazy Horse’s “Beggar’s Day”, the Dylan-esque “Blowin’ In The Wind” and other Grin songs like “Moon Tears” and “Like Rain”.
